Abstract: | General Description: This is a piece of embroidery in an aplique style. The ground is a very light purple guaze that is transluscent. The embroidery takes the form of three triangular groupings of architecture and trees. These three groupings are repeated on the top and bottom of the fold, in mirror image to one another. The design is in pinks, blues, greens, yellows, greys, and reds. Condition Description: There is fraying on the edges, as well as two places where there is a substance that has been attached to the gauze. |
