One side shows a scene with five seated figures dressed in wealthy, possibly Victorian, clothing in front of a background of trees. It is extremly colorful, and there is a gold pattern around the edges. The other side is white with gold stars surrounding a smaller, round scene of three figures; these figures are also in front of a nature scene. The handle has an ornate design carved from the ivory.Condition Description: On the white side of the fan, one of the ivory ribs is badly damaged. Opposite that rib is another that is taped.
