Within these frameworks we will address issues of tribal sovereignty, conquest, and cultural brokerage. Through Native oral histories, written memoirs and fiction, as well as recent scholarship, we will explore the concepts of syncretism, cultural persistence, and bicultural identity.en-USRhodes College owns the rights to the archival digital objects in this collection.
