| Abstract: | This course, the third in a comprehensive musicianship sequence, is based on skill acquisition and style study, focusing on the common-practice era. The contents of the course include:
• a review of diatonic harmony, including harmonic progression and voice-leading principles
• a review and continued study of formal analysis
• a review of more detailed study of chromaticism
• continued study of ear training, sight singing, and keyboard harmony |
