| Abstract: | The objectives of this course are to introduce theories and methodologies of crucial importance to the development of the discipline of art history; to develop student understanding of these theories through extensive classroom discussion and debate; to give students the opportunity to critically examine and evaluate these theories; to aid in refining the analytical skills necessary for sophisticated verbal and written communication, as applied to student evaluations of the assigned texts. |
