There is a typed description at the bottom of the mat, which reads: "Augusta: Confederate States Bible Society Printed by Wood, Hanleiter Rice and Co. Atlanta, Georgia. This 18 mo. edition of the New Testament was the sole publication of the Confederate States Bible Society, founded in the year 1862.
