Abstract: Dark brown ovular coin with radiate draped cuirassed bust-right on obverse with inscription "IMP C CL TACITVS AVG" heavily worn. On reverse, Providentia standing facing left holding baton and cornucopiae with globe at feet, heavily worn "PROVID DEOR" inscription. This coin dates from 275 to 276 CE.
Description: This coin was acquired by the College on March 23, 2015 as part of a donation by Auben Gray Burkhart, a longtime friend of the College. The coin was digitized and added to DLynx by the Visual Resources Center during summer 2016.
