| Abstract: | The image shows the removal of a bronze vessel at Lefkandi. A man is actively working on the excavation of the bronze vessel inside of what appers to be a large dug out space in the ground. The vessel has been wrapped in plaster, and the soil inside has been left undisturbed. This is standard excavation and conservation practice for delicate vessels with high likelihood of precious contents. |
