Abstract: There is no creator noted on the print. A handwritten note has been scanned separately from the print. It states : First Lord "as he lay along Under an oak whose antique root peeps out Upon the brook that brawls along this wood: To the which place a poor sequester'd stag, That from the hunter's aim had ta'en a hurt, Did come to languish" Act II. Scene I. The Forest of Arden is a district in the north of Warwickshire, England. Shakespeare lived near by in Stratford and knew the area well.
Description: The print was scanned at 1200 dpi for the Tiff.
