Abstract
This image depicts the ruins of the Minoan palace of Zakros from an aerial view, apparently taken through balloon photography. The stones remaining give an idea of the layout of the structure. There were small rooms surrounding a large central courtyard area. There is not a symmetrical layout of the rooms.
Description
This image was digitized and added to Dlynx by the Visual Resources Center during summer, 2023. The metadata was created by students enrolled in Dr. Miriam Clinton's Greek Art classes. The student cataloger's name can be found in the dc.contributor.advisor field.
