Abstract
Description
In this interview, head of the Black Knights Warren Lewis describes moving to Memphis from his hometown in rural Mississippi and his activism around the time of the Sanitation Worker's Strike. He also expresses his frustration with the lack of interest and motivation of the late 1970s and 1980s Civil Rights movement.
