Abstract
This course provides a fundamental understanding of the structure
of matter, chemical compounds, molecules and atoms. It provides a foundation for
understanding and for development of skills which contribute to advanced courses in chemistry,
biology, and physics. A conceptual understanding of chemistry is emphasized as well as
problem solving.
