Abstract
This image depicts a woman and a girl. The woman is seated and she holds a fan, leaning over the girl and watching her. She is wearing a tan robe. Her hair is black and arranged into an intricate bun hairstyle with various pins and decorations woven in. The girl is leaning very closely over a fish pond that resembles a hollow, topless coffee table. The girl is reaching into the water and attempting to touch the fish that swim inside. She too has black hair in an intricate bun hairstyle, but she has less pins and adornments than the woman. In the top left corner, a tapestry that is black with a pattern of white scratched # signs. There is no sticker on the back or any sort of label identifying the artist or the title. The image has a white window mat and a black frame.
