Erected by his parents, Wesley and Nelle Nance Halliburton (1961 - 1962). In daring a modern Icarus he flew too near the sun. 'I wanted freedom, freedom to indulge in whatever caprice struck my fancy, freedom to search in the farthermost corners of the earth for the beautiful, the joyous and the romantic.' - The Royal Road to Romance."
