Abstract
Fascinating developmental changes in sense of self, moral voice, and understanding of the social world are reflected in the stories children tell about their own experiences. Students in this research course will be involved in gathering and analyzing stories told by elementary school children. We will seek to discover the ways their stories and their narrative skills relate to assessments of their social and emotional development and to their sense of well-being.
