Description
In this interview, former Public Works Commissioner and City Councilman James Lane Jr. describes the political tension within the cabinets of Shelby county government leading up to and following the Sanitation Worker's Strike and the assassination of Dr. King in 1968, as well as his own evolving views on the Civil Rights movement.
