Abstract
This digital image shows an Avenue of Animals which is the main entrance way into the Memphis Zoo. It was a part of the $1.2 million addition in 1990. The rows of concrete sculptures were dubbed "Avenue of Animals" and patterned after the avenue of Sphinxes in Egypt to mimic the new Egyptian façade.
Description
This digital image was taken by a member of the Memphis Art Project team during summer 2015. It was uploaded to DLynx during fall 2015 in the Visual Resources Center.
