Abstract
Obverse is the bust of Carinus facing right with a radiate crown, cuirassed and has defined hair and curly beard. The reverse is an image of Aeternitas facing left holding a globe in her right hand with a phoenix on it. Her left hand holds up the hem of her robe. This coin is from 283 to 285 CE.
Description
This coin was acquired by the College on March 23, 2015 as part of a donation by Auben Gray Burkhart, a longtime friend of the College. The coin was digitized and added to DLynx by the Visual Resources Center during summer 2016.
