Abstract
This stonecut relief print depicts a figure sitting on the ground with both legs and arms outstretched. His face is a white circle with two eyes, two nose holes, and a circular mouth. Beside the man are six geese. Below the geese are two seals and a small black creature with four legs and a tail. The shapes are all solid color and very simple without many details. The background is solid white, and it is held by a silver frame. There is handwritten text in pencil at the bottom edge that includes Inuit text and a date of 1963. This print was created by an aritst named Parr who worked in Cape Dorset and actively made prints from 1961-1969.
