Abstract
Description
Interview with Alice Crump, who worked at the Crump Brothers Store, a general store that had been on Jackson for 70 years. She discusses Terrytown, a small community that formed before the official development of the Vollintine-Evergreen subdivision. Terrytown was self-sufficient and Alice Crump recalls the Terrytown school, cemetery, the general store, and a near-by church. This interview was conducted in 1979.
