Permanent URI for this collection

"One of the best things that has been accomplished this year is the establishment of a weekly newspaper, 'The Sou'wester'." President Charles E. Diehl in his report to the Board of Directors in 1919. The Sou’wester is produced entirely by students and functions independently of faculty and administration and is a history of the College from the student's perspective. The collection contains every available issue since the first issue was published in 1919. To help with searching, the issues are organized by decades and the PDF format allows the user to select and copy an article or image. Copies of the original newspapers are stored in the Archives vault and may be viewed in the Archives reading room.
